Commissioning
Overview
The commissioning process requires skilled, experienced personnel in order to meet the desired commissioning targets in a timely, safe and cost effective manner. Additional hazards exist during commissioning that are not present during steady state operation of a processing plant. We ensure that these risks are identified and properly managed by meeting the clients safe work policies and procedures and by the use of proven commissioning plans and checklists. The process can cover anything from the installation of new equipment, minor circuit upgrades or a complete plant commissioning project.
To ensure the desired client outcomes are met, care must be taken in all stages including:
- Definition of commissioning targets;
- Identification of performance criteria;
- Installation and setup;
- Selection of operating conditions and online adjustment to achieve optimal installation performance;
- Planning of performance acceptance tests and sampling campaigns for performance verification; and
- Execution of performance acceptance tests and analysis of results.
